Gas Worker Dies Of Head Trauma

A worker at Cabot Gas died this week after being hit in the head with a pipe at a natural gas rig in Dimock, Wyoming last month.

The worker, 41-year-old Gregory Walker, of Colorado, died from his injuries at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre a day after the accident, reports say. Few details about the accident have been made public, so it has been impossible so far to determine if Cabot, or a Cabot worker, was negligent and that negligence caused Mr. Walker's death.

Natural gas rigs are dangerous places to work. Complying with industry standard safety measures is important for a safe work environment and workers should be diligently cautious.
