Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in a fatal  car accident in the 800 block of Federal Road about 6:50 p.m. on Friday, March 5th. A man was mortally injured in a traffic accident in the 4400 block of Kashmere about 6:10 p.m on Feb. 18 and later died from his injuries. The victim was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition, but doctors pronounced him dead on Tuesday, March 9. Houston police are continuing to investigate a fatal traffic accident that occurred at 4200 Tidwell about 2:25 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 28th. The accident occurred as the victim was operating his motorcycle, a black Yamaha, westbound on Tidwell at a high rate of speed. As he changed lanes in an attempt to pass another vehicle, the victim lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a telephone phone. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
