Construction site workers, pedestrians, and others were placed at serious risk when potentially deadly shards of glass rained down from the 56th floor of a Midtown Manhattan skyscraper under construction. A pair of workers were killed in a steam pipe explosion accident on Friday the 13th, 2020. The steam pipe explosion occurred at a Veterans Affairs Hospital located in West Haven, Connecticut.
