A pair of workers at the Owens Corning Plant in Kansas City, Kansas was injured last month as a result of an equipment malfunction while the men unloaded asphalt. Emergency services from Kansas City, Kansas were called out to address the situation at 8 a.m. to attend to the two employees, who had suffered critical burn injuries from the hot asphalt and were transported to a hospital.
