Houston police were called to a fatal car crash in the 6000 block of West Ridgecreek Drive about 7 a.m. March 26. The female, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.
HPD officials reportedly said that the victim was driving a blue Ford Explorer at a high rate of speed, westbound on Ridgecreek, when she lost control of the vehicle. She evidently struck a tree and was ejected from the vehicle. No other vehicles or persons were involved in the incident.
Cases that seem simple often aren’t. If there was a cause to the accident besides a high rate of speed, the victim’s family may have had the ability to secure compensation. Consulting an attorney will see that your rights are being protected.
