Toddler’s Aunt Charged in Boy’s Drowning

The aunt of a New Jersey toddler has been charged after the boy drowned in a New Jersey lake earlier this month, reports say.

Reports say Felicia Tucker, 26, of Monroe Township, has been charged with second-degree endangering of a child in the death of her nephew, who was two-and-a-half when he died.

Reports say Tucker allegedly called police after finding the front door of her home open and the boy missing. The boy, who reports say was autistic, was found by Tucker and a friend in about three feet of water in nearby Victory Lake.

Emergency crews were summoned and the boy was transported to the hospital. But after nearly two hours on a respirator at the hospital, he was pronounced dead, reports say.
