Boy at Country Club Drowns

Arapahoe County, Colorado authorities were continuing their investigation in the drowning death of a 12-year-old boy who succumbed at the Southglenn Country Club, reports say.

Sheriff Department officials reportedly said that the boy died recently after attending a private birthday party when he was found unconscious at the bottom of the pool by another child.

Although he was pulled from the pool by another child after being found underwater in the shallow end and two lifeguards tried to resuscitate him, he was later pronounced dead at Littleton Hospital.
