Thrown Child At Daycare Dies

Reports say a teacher’s assistant became so enraged last week she threw a toddler to the floor, killing him.

Melissa Calusinski, 22, allegedly threw 16-month-old Benjamin Kingan to the floor threw when she became frustrated for his being too noisy. Benjamin later collapsed and died from His skull fractured, reports say.

Calusiniski was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and ordered held in lieu of $5 million bail. A criminal check apparently showed nothing that would have alerted authorities or her employer of possible violence, reports say. Other employees were evidently not suspects in the criminal inquiry. In the meantime, Benjamin’s family held funeral services
