Houston’s South MacGregor Scene of Fatal Traffic Accident

Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 4400 South MacGregor Way that occurred mid-March in which one person died.

The accident occurred when the victim was driving a tan Jeep Wrangler eastbound on South MacGregor Way when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the road and struck a curb. The Jeep then went through a grassy area, over a walking path and then airborne into the bayou.

The victim, who was ejected from the vehicle, was recovered about one block from the crash scene. His identity, believed to be 30 to 35 years old, is pending verification. No other vehicles or persons were involved in the accident.
