Lowe’s Companies Inc. has increased its offer to settle toxic drywall lawsuits, say reports, with the home improvement store chain offering as much as $100,000 to customers who claim their homes and health suffered as a result of toxic drywall they may have purchased at Lowe’s Home Improvement Centers.       Earlier this month Lubbock ISD official swere forced to notify parents of Irons Middle School students regarding an afternoon firearms incident near school grounds, reports say. Reports say a woman who filed suit after developing ulcerative ended up with the illness after taking the acne drug Accutane was awarded $10.5 million by a New Jersey jury recently.  The suit alleged that Accutane caused inflammatory bowel disease in the patient and left her with the second disease. Reports say a cell phone sudy suggests a link between children exposed to cell phones in the womb and behavioral problems. The study, which was evidently based on a previous cell phone study, said children seemed to have more behavioral issues by the time they turned seven, reports say.
