300 Sick on Cruise Ship

Reports say that passengers on the cruise ship Norwegian Jade, a part of the Norwegian Cruise Lines fleet, became ill on a sailing early this year. Passengers reported several shipmates were sickened and the liner was evidently concerned enough to change all buffet areas from self-serve to cafeteria-style. Investigation into Houston Death

Police Investigate Houston Infant’s Death

Houston police were awaiting autopsy results in the death of a baby girl at 226 Hoffman that occurred early last month, reports say. The victim, 2 months old, was evidently found unresponsive by her mother at home on Hoffman. Emergency personnel responded to the scene, attempted CPR and then took the baby to the hospital, reports say. But the child was later pronounced dead. Fatal Traffic Accident at Houston’s Dixie Farm Road

A male victim, 27, whose identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, was killed at 1550 Dixie Farm Road about 2:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning late last month.
