Fatal Traffic on Houston’s State Highway 6

The driver of a blue Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling north on State Highway 6 when he crossed over into oncoming traffic and sideswiped a gray Infinity I-35, subsequently striking a red Chevrolet Cobalt head on. A white Toyota Sienna then struck the rear of the Cobalt after the head-on collision. 

The driver of the Cobalt was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead on arrival. The driver of the pickup was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in an unknown condition, while the driver of the Toyota was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in an unknown condition.  The driver of the Infinity was not injured. 

The identity of the victim was pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The investigation is continuing.
