Austin Auto-Pedestrian Accident Kills One

Houston personal injury attorneyAustin Police Officers responded to an auto- pedestrian accident early last month which occurred in the 1800 block of East State Highway 71.

The incident occurred when a black 2002 Volvo, traveling eastbound in the 1800 block of East State Highway 71, struck a pedestrian who was walking across the highway. After the victim was struck by the Volvo, he was hit by several other vehicles.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. His name was not released, other than to describe him as a 60-year-old Hispanic male. Alcohol does not appear to be
a factor, and no charges are anticipated. The case remains under investigation.
