9/11 Kin Suffers Near-Drowning

The mother of a woman killed in the September 11th attacks was hospitalized recently from a near-drowning in a swimming pool in Orange County California’s Rancho Santa Margarita, reports say. The woman was the mother of Lisa Frost, who was aboard one of the planes that slammed into the World Trade Center towers.

The woman, Melanie Frost, was swimming at her ex-husband’s house when she apparently got into trouble after he left to run an errand. The ex-husband, Thomas Frost, returned and found his ex-wife at the bottom of the pool.

Thomas Frost was able to remove her from the pool. He evidently revived her and called emergency services, who transported her to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, where she was placed on a ventilator, reports say.

Lisa, who was 22 at the time of the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, was flying back to Orange County to visit her parents when she was killed in the 9/11 attacks; she was on the second plane that crashed into the World Trade Center towers, reports say.
