A missing Beaumont man who had a history of seizures was found dead early last month on Galveston Island’s west end after disappearing in the water on a Friday night.   The man, David Kennedy, 40, was reported missing from Terramar Beach just after 8 p.m., while swimming with family, reports say. South Texas Workers Hurt When Auditorium Collapses

A high school auditorium that was under construction collapsed last week, injuring three workers in the south-Texas city of Santa Fe.   Emergency crews were called to the Santa Fe High School in the 16000 block of state Highway 6 Friday morning when it was reported that the structure had collapsed. Houston police have been asking for the public’s assistance in locating a motorist involved in a fatal hit-and-run traffic accident at 2000 State Highway 6 about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 6th, reports say.
