The preliminary investigation shows that a 1994 Honda motorcycle was in the right lane as a tan Buick was in the left lane traveling eastbound on FM 969. Austin Police Officers responded to a fatality crash in the 3100 block of South Mopac Boulevard southbound that killed a drive early in April. A 2008 Mazda 4-door, which was reportedly driving erratically, in the 3100 block of South Mopac Boulevard lost control, left the roadway onto the grass, up a concrete bridge ramp wall, and then down the concrete ramp — striking a concrete pillar. Austin Police Officers responded to a serious injury collision in the 4800 block of Southwest Parkway, after it appears a senior citizen struck a tree along a roadside. A preliminary investigation shows that a vehicle was traveling eastbound on Southwest Parkway when it drifted off the roadway and struck a tree. Sergio Banda Rodriguez, 28, was killed in December last year as he drove westbound on East Ben White Blvd approaching East Riverside Drive. The Red Chevrolet Silverado in which Rodriguez was driving crossed three lanes and struck the passenger side of a Red Saturn Vue.
