A driver of a Lexus struck and killed and unidentified 57-year-old man who was crossing the street at North Beale Road west of Yuba Community College in Sacramento, reports say. Pablo Arredondo, 25, of Yuba City, reportedly stated that he saw the man cross the road an instant before striking him with his Lexus. Thomas M. Roberts, 50, of Newark, CA has reportedly been charged on two counts of second-degree murder, drunken driving and drug charges that resulted in the death of two. The accidents that caused the deaths were reported to have started last month on Interstate 505 near Winters when Roberts struck the median while headed southbound.
