An Ohio woman drowned last month when information she was given from the 911 operator after floodwaters swept her Volkswagen Beetle into an Ohio creek kept her in the car instead of trying to save herself by getting out of the submerged vehicle. The woman, Lisa Roswell of Norwalk drowned February 28 of this year after she called 911 for help. Fifteen-year-old Ron Edmonds, of Franklin, MN  was remembered at a vigil Sunday, the day after he drowned in a private lake in a Franklin neighborhood. The popular middle school student was reportedly swimming with friends when he drowned. Mill Spring, NC father and son drowned in a North Carolina lake after they jumped in to try and save a young child in their care from  drowning last month. Electrical shock is being investigated as a factor in the  drowning of a Bridgeport teenager at Stonewall Jackson Lake, West Virginia, reports say.
