A 61-year-old worker at the joint military base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst was killed last month in a  motorcycle accident involving the motorcycle he was driving and an SUV, according to base authorities. The incident, which is still under investigation, occurred on Range Road at about 7:20 a.m. and resulted in no other reported injuries. Houston police are continuing to investigate a fatal traffic accident that occurred at 4200 Tidwell about 2:25 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 28th. The accident occurred as the victim was operating his motorcycle, a black Yamaha, westbound on Tidwell at a high rate of speed. As he changed lanes in an attempt to pass another vehicle, the victim lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a telephone phone. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
